Radiofrequency waves affect molecular rotation — the spin. A properly modulated RF signal can bring a cell membrane altered by a pathological state back toward its physiological condition: from this principle comes the proprietary Genesi MED 3 signal, a train of pulses of variable duration over time.
Each train is made of 16 pulses square-wave 20 µs pulses, with a carrier at 11 MHz (27 MHz opzionale). Le pauses between one train and the next — from 800 µs to 3.5 ms depending on the program — let the signal act deep on cell reconstruction processes without significantly heating the tissues: power per channel never exceeds 0.15 mW.

With the very same pulsed radiofrequency platform, Zannini Gemini has under study and development Genesi VET 3: the device dedicated to animals with chronic conditions — joint, inflammatory and painful — from veterinary medicine for pets to that for sport horses.
The shaped flexible applicators, already developed for the project, adapt to animal anatomies; the protocols derive from the clinical experience of the MED platform.
