The CONVERTER® works in a closed cycle and under slight vacuum — no dust, no odors — and requires no prior waste sorting: it accepts any material except chemical, toxic, explosive or radioactive. The high-speed rotary mixer reduces waste to particles under 3 mm while friction generates the moist heat of the process.
Waste enters the chamber as it is, with no sorting.
The rotor crushes and mixes; friction takes the mass toward 100 °C.
Moisture evaporates; temperature, pressure and friction sensors drive the cycle.
The mass rises to 151 °C in superheated steam.
151 °C for 3 minutes in moist heat: protein denaturation of microorganisms.
The vacuum pump brings the mass back to ~60 °C by reducing rotor speed.
Centrifugal discharge of the finished product: the "fluff".
Three operating modes depending on the waste: normalization (<60 °C, ciclo <15 min), pasteurization (>120 °C, >20 min), sterilization (>150 °C, >30 min).
The output product is a refuse-derived fuel (RDF, European code 19.12.10): sterile, dry, unrecognizable and odorless. Particle size under 3 mm, drying up to 95%, storable for over 90 days at room temperature without refrigeration, vacuum-packable up to 650 kg/m³. With 3.5–4.5 MWh per ton it fuels boilers, incinerators and power plants.
Dry, recyclable end products, no toxic emissions, zero wastewater, low operating and labor costs.
Treating waste close to where it is produced: one ~3 km transfer instead of the three legs and ~30 km of the centralized incinerator model.
Suitable for naval use under MARPOL 73/78; no special license required to operate the machine.
Aboard yachts, cruise ships, offshore platforms, naval and merchant vessels, ports.
Hotels and resorts, barracks, base camps, communities: six sizes from 100 to 5,000 liters (MO100…MO5000).
Medical waste — syringes, needles, sharps — treated safely on site or in the field hospital.
Ready-to-use 20' and 40' containers: diesel generator, independent cooling, water recycling, touch PLC. Stand-alone: no hookups, no construction work. NATO camouflage paint option.
