Static vs. Dynamic insulation: Fiberglass, Rock Wool and EPS resist heat flow at a fixed conductivity — their R-value is constant. TI-SKIN® / EnigMAT uses inorganic PCM (hydrated salts) to absorb peak thermal load. When the PCM reaches its melt point it changes state at constant temperature, consuming energy without letting it pass. No ΔT, no Q.

1 cm = R-52 equivalent: TI-SKIN® stores latent heat rather than resisting conduction, reaching 40–60% HVAC savings vs. 15–35% for static alternatives — with zero lost living space.

Fire & Safety: ASTM E84 Class A (Flame Spread Index 5 / Smoke Developed 5) — the strictest US/Canada classification. Organic PCM competitors (BioPCM, PureTemp, Rubitherm) use paraffin — combustible by definition. EPS requires a mandatory fire barrier (+$3–5/m²) under IBC.
