A Dynamic Thermal Shield

TI-SKIN® uses inorganic Phase Change Materials (hydrated salts) encapsulated in a patented high-reflectivity aluminum/polymer film. When peak temperatures approach the PCM's melt point, the material absorbs massive amounts of energy to change state — holding temperature constant rather than letting heat pass through.
