SENTINEL applies ultra-sensitive piezoelectric sensors to the metallic elements of critical infrastructure. Vibrations tell the structure's state of health: subtle variations in vibration patterns signal changes in integrity or performance in advance.
Piezoelectric assemblies fixed to pipes, ropes and bars: light percussive excitations, with signals of a few hundred millivolts, are enough to locate defects and stresses in space.
The signals, shaped into clean pulses, feed a radio transmitter toward the remote receiver: analysis happens at a distance, in real time.
Continuous monitoring and historical data analysis: sensor arrays cover entire networks, over tens of kilometers.
From scheduled maintenance to predictive: the anomaly is seen before the fault, the intervention arrives before the failure.
Water networks, oil and gas pipelines: locating excitations and defects along the line.
Suspension and cable-stayed bridges, ropeway systems: tension and integrity, rope by rope.
Metallic elements of buildings and industrial plants: dynamic behavior under control.

SENTINEL is the patented monitoring system invented by Giuseppe Soda, President Worldwide of Pure Organica, and developed in collaboration with theUniversity of Rome Tor Vergata and theUniversity of Padua.
It brings SENTINEL to network, bridge and plant operators in international markets.
The system's scientific validation was born in Italian university laboratories.
